Dr. Derksen has been a partner at the practice for three years, with six years in the dental field. He attended Southern Methodist University, where he earned a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration. He graduated from Boston University’s School of Dental Medicine and went on to earn a Masters in Science and Certificate in Prosthodontics from Baylor College of Dentistry. Dr. Derksen and his wife welcomed twins (a boy and a girl) in early 2015. When he has free time, he enjoys playing golf, skiing, playing ice hockey with his father, and learning to play the guitar.
Sloan W. Hildebrand, DDS, MS
Dr. Sloan W. Hildebrand is passionate about being a prosthodontic specialist and truly cares for those he serves on a daily basis. He completed his undergraduate degree from Baylor University in Waco, TX and doctorate degree from the University of Texas Dental School in 2000. In 2001 he completed a general practice surgical residency at Denver General Health Hospital and went on to receive his prosthodontic Master’s dental specialty certificate from Baylor College of Dentistry. Sloan was blessed to work alongside his father, Dr. David C. Hildebrand, towards the end of his dad’s exceptional restorative career. He then took the reins from his father and carried on the family dental practice legacy for over a decade prior to merging their practice with the Dallas Esthetics team in 2017.
Sloan’s passion for providing basic and comprehensive dentistry for patients of all ages and walks of life has spanned the globe for decades. Whether that be serving others with friends and family in Africa, Haiti, South and Central America, India, Nepal, Myanmar, Romania, South East Asia, throughout remote South Pacific islands or at home in Dallas, he finds it extremely rewarding and considers it a blessing to use his God given talents and time to take care of patients alongside his Dallas Esthetics team. Dr. Hildebrand sets aside time yearly to seek out and educate those in need locally or abroad that may be geographically or financially isolated from receiving proper care. Sloan and his wife, Elizabeth, consider it pure joy to raise their daughter, Isla, and son, Scout, and together serve on dental mission trips abroad as a family. The Hildebrand family are active members of Highland Park United Methodist Church.
