Case Presentations

The before and after photos below demonstrate some of the procedures we offer to improve your smile.

Dental Implants

Patient 1:

This patient was congenitally missing a tooth on the lower right. A dental implant allowed us to replace the tooth in the most ideal way. If we had placed a bridge, we would have had to cut down the two healthy teeth next to the space. With a dental implant, unlike a bridge, the patient can floss and clean normally around the prosthetic tooth.

The dental implant is placed in the bone below the space. The abutment is the metal part which sticks up above the gums.

A crown is cemented to the abutment in the same manner that crowns are cemented to natural teeth.

An x-ray of the dental implant with the crown attached.

Patient 2:

This patient lost a front tooth due to an accident.

We were able to restore a natural and pleasing appearance with a dental implant, replacing only the single missing tooth.

Patient 3:

dental implants

This patient came to us with an unsatisfactory set of dentures which presented problems with appearance, chewing, and comfort.

Four implants were placed in the lower jaw and fitted with a bar. This bar is able to support the lower denture, which is usually very difficult to stabilize.

The completed set of dentures provide a dramatic improvement in appearance, function, and comfort.

Veneers and Porcelain Crowns

Patient 1:

porcelain veneers

This patient had small, thin, and discolored teeth.

Porcelain Veneers provide a more attractive smile.

Patient 2:

This patient had dark, unattractive teeth. The eye teeth had been moved during orthodontics, creating an unnatural appearance.

All-porcelain crowns provide a more attractive smile.

Patient 3:

An older patient with crowded front teeth did not want orthodontics.

All-porcelain restorations provide the appearance of straightened teeth and patient satisfaction.

Patient 4:

This patient had pitted enamel and what she described as “teeth that are too small.”

Porcelain veneers correct the problem, meeting the patient’s esthetic demands.

Patient 5:

This patient complained that the color, shape, and crowding of her lower front teeth was unattractive.

Porcelain veneers provide an esthetic result, correcting color, shape, and alignment.

Patient 6:

This patient had small, worn, darker teeth.

Porcelain laminates correct the problem and create a beautiful smile.
