Restorative Dentistry in Dallas

As a dental office focused on building healthy, beautiful smiles, restorative dentistry is very important to us. With our services, and commitment to gentle, compassionate care, Dr. Higginbottom, Dr. Derksen, or Dr. Hildebrand help you accomplish both goals. From your very first visit to our Dallas office, we’ll put our expertise to work for you with a treatment plan tailored to your needs.

Our restorative services include:

Dental Crowns & Bridges

Replacing missing teeth is important, for confidence and to prevent surrounding teeth from moving out of position. Two of the most sought-after restorative services available are crowns and bridges. With these solutions, we replace missing teeth and restore the strength of decayed or cracked teeth.

Dental crowns are also known as “caps” because they’re placed over teeth that have been weakened by decay or fracture. With a protective crown in place, the tooth’s strength and appearance is restored.

Using one type of fixed prosthetic known as a bridge, multiple missing teeth can be replaced.  A bridge uses adjacent teeth as anchors for custom-made prosthetics that complete your smile and prevent serious changes to oral health and well-being. For patients with one to three missing teeth in a row, a fixed bridge may be the solution.

Regardless of the type of restoration you need, you can be confident that you’ll receive excellent results. Our office places special focus on the replacement and restoring of teeth, and Dr. Higginbottom, Dr. Derksen, and Dr. Hildebrand all take the esthetics of dentistry very seriously. To learn more about these services, or to schedule your consultation, contact our front office team today. We offer exceptional dentistry to patients across Dallas.

Dentures & Partial Dentures

While there are other solutions for patients to consider, removable partials and dentures are a popular, effective choice for patients who need to replace several, non-consecutive missing teeth or a full arch. At Dallas Esthetics you’ll receive dentures designed according to your needs whether you’re replacing just a few teeth or an entire arch. If you’re considering a removable prosthetic, let us assess your needs and make a treatment recommendation.

A partial denture features replacement teeth spread out over a gum-colored base. Unlike permanently attached bridges, partials are removable and held in place with clasps on remaining healthy teeth. Implants may also be used to help keep a partial or full denture in place.

A full denture is an entire row of teeth made of replacement teeth attached to a gum-colored base. Full dentures are held in place with suction or a denture adhesive.  These too can be held in place with implants.

During your initial consultation, Dr. Higginbottom, Dr. Derksen, or Dr. Hildebrand may discuss the possibility of treatment with dental implants instead of traditional dentures. Contact Dallas Esthetics today with your questions about traditional dentures or implant-supported dentures.

Oral Cancer Reconstruction

If you’ve recently undergone treatment for oral cancer, let us talk to you about the reconstructive help we provide. Ideally, your reconstruction planning begins before your initial cancer surgery, so we begin working on a prosthetic in advance. The goal is to provide patients with functional and beautiful results that resolve defects and improve confidence. Do you want to learn more about reconstructive care following oral cancer? Contact our dental office with your questions or to schedule a consultation with Dr. Higginbottom, Dr. Derksen, or Dr. Hildebrand. We offer Restorative Dental Care for the University Park, Park Cities, Preston Hollow, and Highland Park Areas of Dallas
